Las Campanas Community Funds (LCCF) at Santa Fe Community Foundation recognizes the importance of community engagement for members of The Club at Las Campanas and seeks to become a leader of philanthropy in the region through two funds: Scholarships for Las Campanas employees and their families and Community Grants to area nonprofits primarily in Santa Fe County.

The LCCF Board and its Committees are all volunteer groups who work with members of The Club at Las Campanas to inspire collective philanthropy to benefit those in need in our community. There is no paid staff and no legal affiliation with the Club. All funds raised through LCCF activities are delivered to one of two funds, Community Grants or Scholarships, held at our nonprofit partner, Santa Fe Community Foundation and dispersed to nonprofits or scholars. 

Since 2014, LCCF has awarded 419 scholarships totaling more than $1,100,000 and 258 grants totaling over $2,800,000.

Our goal is to continue increasing our ability to support those in need. We strive to increase our support every year and hope your generosity runs deep to provide $1M in Community Grants this year. The needs in Santa Fe area remain high. With your support, we can provide more support to more agencies servicing those in need. 

LCCF Community Grants Committee does extensive research into many nonprofit organizations working in education, health, and human services—our three focus areas. Site visits are conducted annually by LCCF Board members and Club members who volunteer at the candidate organizations. Special consideration is given to candidate organizations where Club members are volunteers. The Committee meets frequently in the Fall to select the grantees and then seeks approval from the LCCF Board. Santa Fe Community Foundation (SFCF) confirms eligibility of the prospective grantees and disperses funds in January after the total funding amount is confirmed.

There was no active fundraising for the LCCF Scholarship Program (typically in June) because LCCF Scholarships are sufficiently funded at this time. Community Grants Annual Appeal is our only major fundraising ask of 2024. LCCF is a donor-advised fund at Santa Fe Community Foundation (SFCF). Our grantees are SFCF approved and vetted nonprofit agencies serving education, health, and human services primarily in the Santa Fe metro area. For grantees who serve a larger geographic area, we restrict our grant to use in Santa Fe County.
