"As a native of Santa Fe I never worked with wood until I decided to make a wood urn for my ailing father. Dad grew up with Black Walnut on his family farm and so that wood had meaning for him. I took lessons and practiced my skills almost every day, made him a Black Walnut urn, and never stopped woodturning.

My constant challenge is finding a design that best expresses the unique beauty of each piece of wood. My greatest satisfaction comes when the final piece truly reveals how beautiful that wood can be. Come and see if you can find that beauty in each of my hand-made pieces of wood art."
