Willis Lee

Willis Lee was born in Fort Worth, Texas. Beginning his photographic career in 1971, he is widely known for his portfolios in copperplate photogravure and large scale photography. Lee has always been a visual explorer, pushing the envelope of contemporary printmaking. His work can be humorous or profound, and sometimes both. His prints are always beautifully conceived, and technically impeccable. During his career he has acted as educator, lecturer, curator, and publisher.
