Ed Adcock

"I began painting when my 'right brain' woke up."

For most of his life Ed was “left-brained” - which suited him well in his career as an attorney. Then suddenly in his 50’s his “right brain” woke up, and he began painting. The battle for dominance raged between the two hemispheres, until finally the right side won, he retired and began devoting more time to his art.

Since then has taken classes from Bill Hagerman in Texas and Lee Rommel in Santa Fe, as well as participating in workshops given by Roger Williams and Michele Byrne. Ed is a realist painter, with occasional abstract pieces. He works with oil on canvas, utilizing both brushes and palette knife.
